O montante será usado na montagem do sistema de abastecimento de água no bairro Alto Macassa, além da construção de outras fontes nos Bairros 5º Congresso e Chibuene, onde escasseia o precioso líquido.

O vereador para área de Administração, Finanças e Desenvolvimento da Economia local, no Conselho Municipal da vila de Vilankulo, Hermínio Nhanombe, disse que neste momento dos cerca de trinta e oito mil habitantes metade é que tem acesso a água potável.

A fonte asseverou que até finais deste ano, a taxa de cobertura de abastecimento do precioso líquido poderá atingir os oitenta porcento.
